Bid Opening

Sealed bids will be received by the Gwinnett County Department of Financial Services – Purchasing Division-2nd Floor, 75 Langley Drive, Lawrenceville, Georgia 30046 until January 14, 2020* at 2:50 P.M. They will then be publicly opened and read aloud at 3:00 P.M.

Any bid received after 2:50 P.M. will not be accepted. Bid envelope must be marked on the outside with Bid Number, name of Bidder, date and time of opening. Contractor providing the utility work must have a current valid Utility Contractors License.

Pre-Bid Meeting

A pre-bid conference is scheduled for 10:00 A.M. on January 6, 2020* at 4912 Gold Creek Trail, Sugar HIll, GA 30518. All pre-qualified bidders are strongly urged to attend.

Mandatory Pre-Qualification

Interested bidders should obtain a Pre-Qualification Application for this specific project from the Gwinnett County Purchasing Office, 75 Langley Drive, 2nd Floor, Lawrenceville, Georgia 30046 or download from www.gwinnettcounty.com. In order to download, please select “BL123-19 Notice of Bid” and the prequalification application is attached.

Pre-qualification applications will be received by email to dana.garland@gwinnettcounty.com or delivered to the Gwinnett County Purchasing Office, 75 Langley Drive, Lawrenceville, Georgia 30046 until 12/26/2019* at 2:00 P.M. Any pre-qualification application received after this date and time will not be accepted.

If the applicant prequalifies utilizing a sub or lead personnel, then the applicant must submit a bid utilizing the approved pre-qualified sub or lead personnel. A minimum of 50% of the work referenced must have been completed by the prime contractor submitting the bid. The County will not permit substitutions and any firm submitting an alternate sub will be grounds for the County to deem the bid non-responsive.

A list of pre-qualified bidders should be available by 12/04/19, 4 PM.

NOTE: Bids submitted by contractors who have not been prequalified will not be considered.
